Caring for Twin Babies
, 01 26th, 2009
It’s a wonderful thing to be gifted with two newborn babies at the same time, but if the parents aren’t careful, they can be quite a handful. When caring for twins, it’s best to purchase baby care products designed for two babies. This will ensure that caring for the two babies is more convenient for the mother and father. Items like twin strollers, twin high chairs, and twin round cribs will help the parents to care for both babies at the same time, though they will have their individual needs.
When the twins grow up, it’s also a good idea to provide them with similar clothing and toys, but still make sure they’re able to identify themselves as individuals. You don’t want one twin to believe he or she is favored over the other, and jealousy is a common occurrence between twins, especially at a young age.
Designing Your Teen’s Room
, 01 26th, 2009When it comes to designing a room for your teen, it’s most important to include them in the process. Teens are known for wanting to branch out and be individuals, so if you’re looking to add new furniture, replace kids bedding with teen bedding, or repaint the walls, be sure to include your teen in all decisions. It’s their room after all, and it’s important that they enjoy it and feel safe. However, you also want your teen to think about their decision, especially if the changes to the room are outlandish or seem to be spur of the moment.
In general, it’s a good idea to wait a week or two to implement the changes your teen proposes unless you can both agree on it, after all, they’ll probably want to change their mind!
