Kid’s Bedroom

With three children all under the age of five running around the house, I almost always have my hands full.  My oldest is almost five, and the younger two are one and three.  It’s always hectic around the house, especially when it comes to clothing.  It seems that every ten minutes I’m changing the clothing on one of my children.  For this reason, I’ve placed hampers not just in my kid’s rooms, but all around the house.  I have one hamper in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, and another in the kids play room.  Before I had all those hampers, kids clothing was everywhere, but now at least most of it makes its way into the proper place!

I know that one day my kids will grow up and I’ll be able to tell them to put away their clothes, but until then, I think my house will always feel like a Laundromat!

If you have sons who play sports you probably know just how stinky their clothing can get. My sons have been known to stink up the whole house with their sweat-soaked jerseys and dirty socks. This is a real problem for me because I am very sensitive to bad smells.

I have tried many different techniques to get rid of the smell. Laundry hampers are the only solution that has actually worked. I make sure the boys put all their dirty clothes in the hampers as soon as they get home from practice. The smell is still there, it’s just trapped in the hamper!
